It happened:
My daughter achieved a physical feat that I never managed to do. At age 14.75, Rose is officially 6 feet tall. That's one centimeter taller than me, her aging mother. In our family height hierarchy, I am now ranked #4 out of 5. I am trying my best not to feel left out. I always tell people I'm 6 feet tall, because I basically am--especially with shoes on--but now that feels like a lie, because Rose is ACTUALLY 6 feet tall for real! Haha.
Well done, Rose.
This milestone deserves its own blog post.
