Jeff in June:
1. His birthday
2. His new bike
3. Father's Day
4. His son
1. Jeff is seriously THE BEST: the perfect blend of goofy, fun, smart, witty, kind, patient, and handsomeness. He turned 34 years old on June 1st. We celebrated with homemade Indian food and brownies, since brownies are better than cake. The local White family came over to help us eat those brownies and sing to Jeff.
Cousin-fest!
The kids bounded outside to jump off the sugar rush.
We love a good, wild birthday celebration!
2. The bike! Jeff has been riding his thrift store bike for nearly a decade. He has even done a triathlon with the thing and it is practically made of cast iron, it's so heavy. We decided that it was time to upgrade his equipment and his birthday was a perfect excuse! We took advantage of a 2015 inventory sale at BG's Cycle in Prosser and Jeff ordered his bike-o-dreams. It arrived the day after school let out for the summer, so he hasn't had the chance to do an official commute on it, but he says it is FAST. He can go at 15 miles per hour faster on his new bike than he could on his old bike, with WAY less effort.
Out front of our house, leaving for one of his last commutes to work on his old bike.
The snazzy husband with his snazzy new bike. Even the sky was celebrating with him. Those fluffy clouds!
Riding up our street
Birthday selfie! Because why not?
3. Father's Day 2016: Our kids are the luckiest three to have such a fun father. Here are some commemorative pictures to celebrate Jeff and his kids.
Post church walk across the parking lot.
4. Lately we've been noticing even more how MUCH Jay is his father's son:
YAY for fun birthdays, fast bikes, and jungle-gym fathers!
{and good facial bone structure, dimples, and winning smiles passed on to progeny}
We love Jeff!
