Teething is no picnic. Rose is working on her top front teeth. It’s been rough. I have a small list of posts that I’ve been planning on doing, but I just haven’t really felt very witty, clever, or eloquent this week. So here are some pictures minus the epigrams—I’ll let the pictures do the talking this time.
I think that this picture captures the essence of teeth-growing.
In order to cope with the pain of pushing out sharp new teeth, Rose turned to yoga. Or maybe it was ballet…
reach
stretch
lean
touchdown
[she definitely did not inherit this flexibility from her mother]
Zen.
It worked! Now, on to the next tooth.
Can you hear that grinding sound? Rose is sharpening her new tooth. Ahhhk, it makes me shudder.
The little toothy fairy.

P.S. Today was our ward’s Primary Program. Whew! It went well, and the kids did great. We are all glad to be done with those songs, I think. (except We’ll Bring the World His Truth—I’ll never get tired of that one). I was the “prompter”—I crouched behind the microphone and helped the nervous ones say their lines. We all made it through at last. One more time—whew!
