Rose is now TEN months old.
She has enough hair for pigtails! Barely. I don’t think she likes them much.
So pretty.
Rose is turning into a little monkey. It’s fascinating to see how she learns things in her own way and her own time. Little by little she’s figuring out how to move.
Like I said.
Jay has been giving her crawling lessons. Our floor space is so small though, that there’s usually something in reach, so she doesn’t really have to work to get anywhere. A week ago she figured out how to sit up from her tummy.
And then on Friday December 9th, she put it all together and CRAWLED. Of course I was gone on a [freezing] run when she did it for the first time, so Jeff was the first witness. The same thing happened when Jay learned how to get into a sitting position—I was off on a run. Exercise is a sacrifice. [But seriously, what are the odds that babies will do something new during the only 35 minutes in a whole day that I’m not with them?]
Yay for Rose!
