Time for a switcheroo: I am changing sites from Blogger to WordPress for this blog. It's been so long since I changed anything on my blog and it feels a little sad to abandon such a beloved little internet nook that I have inhabited for the past decade. But I transferred all 10 years' worth of posts from here over to WordPress so nothing will be lost! And I still have the same intentions for my blog: post stories and thoughts whenever the mood strikes. So the only thing that's really changing is the site name and how it looks. Still. Sniff.
Right now I have done my best to make the new site look as much like the old one as possible, (a difficult task using different/foreign tools and templates). I'm still puzzling over certain details on WordPress--total rookie here! In the future, I will be tinkering with my new site until I have found a look that fits my taste best in the new space.
While I was setting up the new site last week, I did a mini-post on the new site as a trial run. So far so good.
