She decided to start sleeping all night most nights about 3 weeks ago, and I'm starting to come out of my sleep deprived haze at last. She still wakes up looking for her Wub every now and then, but for the most part she sleeps! all! night! Like, from 6:30pm-6:30am! Or 7pm-7am! or any variation of these time frames.
She has been on 100% bottles and formula (!) for almost a month now. I'm still kind of in shock at how much I love bottles! While I was at it, I switched back to handy disposable diapers too, and my life is a breeze! It feels too easy! But it's so fun to minimize the work and maximize the enjoyment with a baby. I might use cloth diapers again at some point, but if not, it's all good. The best part is I feel GREAT about these decisions! I have no lingering doubts or guilt at all. I feel amazing!
She has two teeth and can sit up really well.

I think Amber looks more like Jay. But don't tell her I said that! : ) I meant to comment on your post a while back about using bottles and disposable diapers. (I tend to read blogs on my phone a lot now but the comment part does not work well and it rarely lets me finish my comments, grrr.) But I wanted to share a smile with you about letting go of those "shoulds" that we often let ourselves get burdened down with and just do what works for us. You said it so perfect. I have recently purchased those little baby food pouches to use for Landon at church and the occasional snack on the go. I used to swear up and down how stupid I thought those were and how I would never use them. It's funny how we evolve and change, and how hard we make it for ourselves to do that sometimes. Amber is a cutie pie!
